Bruno was born and grew up in Brittany. From 2000, when he moved to England, he started to dedicate himself exclusively to art, using painting as a medium to express his thoughts and emotions with his own rules.
Since then, he has been developing his practice as a painter and printmaker and been showing successfully around the country as well as abroad. Currently represented by galleries in the Lake District, Birmingham and London, Bruno now lives and works on the Isle of Man where he has found an endless source of inspiration.
Although largely inspired by the landscape of the Celtic countries he loves to visit, his paintings are often done from memory. They are not always of a particular place and aim more to capture atmospheres through movement, colours and light, in a journey which the audience is invited to explore and experience, on both visual and emotional levels.
